HUI MADE A POWERFUL QUADRUPLE BOTTOM

On December 12 it seemed like the HUI broke support, and the quadruple bottom was just a dream. well, it wasn't a dream and we now have a very powerful quadruple bottom. This portends well for 2018. As long as the HUI holds the 178 level we're fine. The HUI is not confirming the two week move in metals. We may have another correction, but it should be short.

COT REPORT GETTING BETTER

On the 22nd things were mixed. The commercials added 10,000 gold shorts, and are now up to 128,000 contracts net short. They dropped 6,000 silver shorts, and are now only 19,000 contracts net short. 19,000 is the best we’ve seen in years folks. On the 29th the commercials added another 20,000 gold shorts, and are now 149,000 net short. They added 2,000 silver shorts, and are now 21,000 net short. Just look at this COT chart (does not include the 19th). Lower purple lines are commercial shorts. When they go long with us, life is gonna be wonderful!

WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF SILVER

Silver demand is up every year, but production is down badly. Look at the chart below.  There are very few silver mines in the entire world. Nearly all silver is a byproduct of base metal mining.  Each year only 870 million oz of silver is mined worldwide, and this is falling. Almost none is recycled anymore, since all photography and x-rays are now digital. There are over 7 billion people in the world. This means there are less than 4 grams ($2 worth) of silver per person available every year. That equals about four paper clips. When a smart silver investor buys a 1,000 oz bar, he has just taken all the silver available that year for 8,000 people for only $16,000.

CNN REVEALS STOCK CRASH THIS YEAR

On the 26th, the day after Christmas, all the regular hosts were on vacation. One of the cast woman replacements at 8:10 AM (EST) was kidding around, and suddenly blurted out, "I guess you need to get it before the stock market gets cut in half in 2018". Too many signs tell us this year is going to be dark. All the economic problems pale in comparison the possibility of various (not just one) wars. North Korea could be destroyed peacefully by economic sanctions. We certainly don’t have to risk a nuclear war to put an end to them. Most of the world hates them, and China has cut them off from trade, especially oil and coal. The Bitcoin crash was a warning. We’re facing a real estate crash, a stock market collapse, a bond disaster, a derivatives explosion, we’re up to our ears in debt in every way, unemployment is thru the roof, inflation is bad, the dollar is collapsing, There are no answers to any of these problems. The chickens are going to come home to roost. The evil axis of America/Israel/Saudi Arabia is doing their level best to start wars and more wars. We are overwhelmingly outgunned and outnumbered by countries who hate us. We have no allies. Just China and Russia can vaporize us anytime within hours. Add another twenty countries that will gladly join them. Be prepared. Be ready. Do everything you can to be prepared. This is not paranoia, but merely good common sense. Put every dollar you have into silver bullion. Have some green cash for purchases. It is far more important to have lots of ammunition moreso than guns.
