Serious Supplement Program
- Roger Mason
Here is a one page list of proven supplements everyone over the age of 40 should
be taking. You can xerox this and hand it out to your friends if you like.
Anyone over 40 should be taking about 20 supplements plus whatever hormones they
need (see the hormone articles). That may seem like a lot, but every one of
these will improve your health and well being. Please remember nothing makes up
for a wholesome low fat, high fiber diet of natural foods. People are all too
willing to shell out hundreds of dollars for toxic prescription drugs that just
make their health worse, but balk at paying a hundred dollars a month for
natural supplements to help them live longer and better. Instead of paying
extortionate prices for after-the-fact health “insurance” programs, spend $100 a
month on the following supplements. An ounce of prevention has always been worth
a pound of cure.
beta glucan 200 mg, or 400 mg for the first year if you have an illness
CoQ10 100 mg and no less; 200 mg for the first year if you have an
illness
curcumin 500 mg for one year only; a powerful natural antioxidant
quercitin 100 mg; another powerful natural antioxidant
beta-sitosterol 300 mg of mixed sterols, or 600 mg for the first year if
you have an illness

NAC (N-acetyl cysteine) 600 mg to raise your glutathione levels
vitamin E natural mixed tocopherols 400 IU; a classic antioxidant
vitamin D3- 800 IU (unless you are in the sun regularly)
Total Minerals one daily gives you 18 vital elements in the amounts you
need
Total Vitamins one daily gives you the RDA of all 13 vitamins
TMG (trimethylglycine) 3 g (6 X 500 mg) a day for 6 to 12 months to
rejuvenate your liver
vitamin B-6 women should take 10 mg a day and no more (the RDA is only 2
mg)
folic acid women should take 800 mcg a day
aloe vera one or two capsules of a good 200:1 extract for one year only
beta carotene 10,000 IU; a powerful antioxidant
vitamin C- no more than 250 mg; high doses cause serious side effects
Aside from a wholesome diet of natural foods and natural hormone balance, don’t
take prescription drugs, exercise regularly, and fast one day a week on water
only from dinner to dinner. Natural health is about diet and lifestyle, not
Magic Supplements.
