More Criminal Behavior

- Roger Mason

Recently there have been full page color ads in the natural health trade magazines for over-the-counter testosterone creams, estriol creams, growth hormone creams, growth hormone capsules and various herbal sexual rejuvenators. These claim to be "FDA Registered", and "No Prescription Necessary", and "For Professional Use" and say "Doctor's" on some of them. They are really expensive at $39.95 and $49.95 for most of them. They cost all of $2 to make because there's just nothing of value in them.

Wouldn't it be wonderful folks if we could just walk into a health food store and buy testosterone, estriol, growth hormone and sexual rejuvenators (that really worked) without a prescription? Well, this is the United States, and let me assure you it most certainly isn't happening at all.

Let's start with the "FDA Registered" testosterone gel, which is a, "Remedy for relief of diminished sexual desire and premature impotence". This is a homeopathic product, which means there is not one drop of testosterone in there. All testosterone products are highly regulated prescription drugs by law. You are buying a dollars worth of gel for $39.95 that wouldn't raise your testosterone if you bathed in it. THERE'S NO TESTOSTERONE TN THIS PRODUCT WHATSOEVER.

Now, let's look at the estriol cream. The ad reads, "Estriol is considered the most effective and safest estrogen. This 'natural estrogen' cream...." Again, this is a homeopathic product, which means there is not one drop of estriol in there. Not only are all estriol products regulated by law, but no regular pharmacy even carries or can order them. You must go to a special compounding pharmacy to get estriol gel. Again, you are buying a dollars worth of gel, but paying $49.95 this time. THERE'S NO ESTRIOL IS THIS PRODUCT WHATSOEVER.

By now you've probably guessed there's no growth hormone in the "FDA Registered" hGH gel. It wouldn't do you any good, since growth hormone has to be injected (or used sublingually) to get into your system. There's obviously no growth hormone in here as a mere 30 IU (a month's supply) costs about $120. GH is regulated by law and you must have a prescription. The label says, "L-Dopa Enhanced". L-dopa is a dangerous prescription drug, so you can believe there isn't one molecule of L-dopa in there.. You are getting a dollars worth of gel for $39.95. THERE'S NO GH IN THIS PRODUCT WHATSOEVER.

They also offer "Rated #l by the Experts" growth hormone capsules. It wouldn't matter how much GH you eat, as it is not effective at all orally and must be injected. The ad reads, "This remarkable patented formula is the only product listed under growth hormone therapy in the world renowned manual 'Prescription for Nutritional Healing' by Phyllis and James Balch." This should prove to you just how much Phyllis and James's advice is worth. Phyllis just croaked of cancer at 72 from following her own advice. James is fat, has high cholesterol, high blood sugar and bad health. You pay $39.95 for biologically useless capsules with some homeopathic (i.e. none at all) L-dopa. L-dopa is found in Mucuna pruriens and Vicia faba plants in very small amounts, but will not raise your growth hormone levels regardless of how much you eat. As a prescription drug for Parkinson's Disease L-dopa has severe side effects including heart arrhythmias, gastrointestinal problems, low blood pressure, lung and breathing problems, hair loss, confusion, anxiety, hallucinations(!), and sleep disorders. Sounds like great stuff, huh?

For sexual rejuvenation they have three products- a "World's #1 Patented Formula" Libido Lift, Horny Goat Weed Formula and a Horny Goat Weed Gel- "Testosterone enhanced to increase effectiveness, this new exciting product features time-released liposome technology" Folks, horny goat weed is an old Chinese herb that isn't going to do anything whatsoever to help your sex life. If you're naive enough to buy OTC sexual enhancement products you should realize that NONE of them work at all.

It's a shame that companies like this are allowed to operate. Why aren't these people put in prison?

You can legally order testosterone and growth hormone from Mexican online pharmacies legally for your own personal use. They aren't smart enough to offer estriol yet, but they will. Please read the article You Don't Need a Prescription to learn more.
