Bob Has Almost Cured Prostate Cancer- Roger
Mason
About two years ago a 70 year old blind, black man was sitting in his apartment
listening to the Beta Prostate radio "educationalmercial". While cancer is not
addressed in this, he had always believed in natural medicine and called the
station to find me. He called and explained he was dying of prostate cancer and
asked was there a natural way to cure this. He did not want the usual radiation,
chemo and drug regimen and would rather just die peacefully than undergo that
kind of useless insanity and torture.
This was unique- you can't tell someone to, "go read my book", or, "go read Dirk
Benedict's book on his healing". So, we had long talks about curing his cancer
naturally. He was willing to give up milk, dairy, red meat, poultry and eggs as
well as sugar and refined foods. He liked the idea of eating whole grain hot and
cold cereals in the morning, eating brown rice instead of white rice and eating
whole wheat pastas. He liked beans and nearly all vegetables. He ate very
little, fortunately, and was not overweight. His groceries would cost about the
same in the end. He wanted to take all the twenty some supplements including
beta sitosterol, flax oil, soy isoflavones, vitamins C, D and E, NAC, citrus
pectin, beta carotene, quercitin, L-glutamine, minerals, acidophilus, FOS, milk
thistle, beta glucan, DIM, CoQ10 and the rest of them. He couldn't afford them
so we arranged that he get them at cost.
He took melatonin at night even though blind, he took pregnenolone and used
progesterone cream. We tested his DHEA and testosterone and his DHEA was low so
he took that, too. He went to a social club every week where he was tempted to
eat things not on his diet like chicken wings, potato salad, soft drinks and
such. It took a few months to stop that completely. The only problem was that he
smokes a pipe and has a few scotch and waters every week. Are you going to tell
a 70 year old blind man to give up two of the few pleasures he has in life? We
decided not to. Here, it seemed psychology outweighed these two habits. Nicotine
and alcohol are poisons but show no known relation to prostate disease
specifically.
Every month Bob FELT BETTER. This is always the criteria when you are healing
any disease naturally- do you feel better every month? He knew by how he felt
that he was getting well. For two years he never asked about a biopsy, radar,
sonogram or any other diagnostics to prove he was getting well. He knew he was
getting well in his heart. Fortunately his doctor was one of the rare kinds that
support people who choose to use natural means to heal themselves. Men can
usually cure prostate cancer in less than a year, but Bob was smoking the pipe
and having his scotch and this certainly slowed things down. His doctor arranged
to get him an expensive MRI after two years to see how he was doing. There was
no longer any evidence of cancer, but there were still some questionable and
unclear areas in his prostate that meant he wasn't fully cured yet. Within the
next six months Bob will be completely well and free of cancer or unusual areas.
He did it all himself and took responsibility for being ill and took
responsibility for getting well. He doesn't want to die at 72 and still gets a
lot of enjoyment out of life. He plays jazz music with his friends for nursing
homes and other elderly facilities.
Now, if a poor, blind, black man on welfare living alone who can't even read a
book can cure prostate cancer by himself, who can't? Who can't cure cancer,
diabetes, heart disease, epilepsy, hepatitis-C or any of the other epidemic
conditions we Americans suffer from due to our unhealthy lifestyles? And there
is no reason for regular people to cheat on their diet or bad habits when they
are getting well. Is it more important to live or more important to have a cup
of coffee/ice cream/cheeseburger/etc.? Bob wanted to cure the cause of his
illness and not stamp out the mere symptoms with surgery, radiation and drugs.
And he's done that.
The Greek philosopher Heraclitus said, "character is destiny". Bob has character
and that's why he surely has another ten years to live instead of being dead
today or being the living dead after the medical profession butchered,
irradiated and poisoned him into a breathing corpse. There's an obvious lesson
here folks.
